Evolutionists: Why can we find no DNA for the "Leatherman", but we can find soft tissue from a T-Rex?

The conditions were different. Historically, many graves were dug in a manner that fostered decomposition. Bodies being uncovered by a flood is not popular. Soil water content, mineral content, and acidity vary greatly from location to location. Under different conditions, soft tissues can be preserved with exquisite detail.
