Books for an 18 year old girl?

i've read a bunch of teen series book and nicholas sparks but i'm looking for something deeper. i want to start reading some classic romance novels and other classic stories as well. as for the plot i like a love story, but i also enjoy any book that makes me think or surprises me. any suggestions are welcome!
