Would this be an obnoxious way to narrate the story? I can't decide which I would enjoy more...?

I can't decide if I want like third person omniscient or, if I want to take turns and have each chapter be through first person perspective with one of the major characters--kind of like er The Wanderer by Sharon Creech. I think it would be fun, but I'm worried it would be annoying because there are five of them!
