Is Poland a cheap country to visit?

If you are travelling as a backpacker, staying in hostels, preparing most of your own meals and only eating occasional restaurant meals, travelling by bus and train you can scrape by on $30 USD per day but $50 USD per day gives you more options. However, it's also possible to spend hundreds per day if you stay in better accommodations, rent a car, eat out for all of your meals, etc.
